Three College of Health Professions undergraduate students received $4,000 scholarships for this year thanks to a grant from Metro Health Foundation.
CHP Dean Christine Pacini ’70, ’74 hosted an event for Metro Health Foundation representatives Theresa Sondys, senior program officer, and Dr. Judy Bean, board member, to meet the 2016-17 scholarship recipients and for a tour of the nursing school. The foundation members toured the new facility and met the students who benefited from their generosity.
The students—Vanessa DeLaCruz, Mackenzie Maniaci and Simona Petak—were chosen for their commitment to the nursing program and because they showed financial need.
