Librarians touch the lives of the people they serve every day. Through Monday, Oct. 1, all Detroit Mercy students, faculty, staff and administrators are encouraged to nominate your favorite librarian for the annual I Love My Librarian award.
The I Love My Librarian award is a collaborative program of Carnegie Corporation of New York, the New York Public Library, The New York Times, and the American Library Association.
10 librarians will be selected for a $5,000 cash award, a plaque and a travel stipend to attend the awards ceremony and reception in New York City, hosted by Carnegie Corporation of New York.
