UDM graduate programs rank among best according to U.S. News & World Report

University of Detroit Mercy graduate programs in Engineering, Business, Law, Health Professions and Liberal Arts & Education were once again ranked among the top in the nation in the 2023-24 U.S. News & World Report’s ‘Best Colleges’ edition. This is the fourth consecutive year that Detroit Mercy graduate programs have ranked among the nation’s best.

PA students collecting donations in partnership with NOAH Project

Didactic Physician Assistant students at Detroit Mercy have been participating in service learning this semester with The NOAH Project (Networking, Organizing, and Advocating for the Homeless) in Detroit. Donations are being collected through Friday April 7 and can be dropped off in the collection bin located in the College of Health Professions Student Lounge.

Detroit Mercy service-learning project provides care packs for people in need

For more than six years, Nour Lyon and her husband have been distributing care packs with useful items to members of the unhoused community. 

“I always felt helpless walking by homeless people in Detroit or driving around and I thought, ‘what can I have ready to go to give them?’” Lyon ’12, an assistant professor in the Physician Assistant Program, said. “I didn’t always have cash on me, and I thought that this would be something good and beneficial to give them.”
