Willis &#8217;12 from <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.udmercy.edu\/alumni\/2016\/11\/02\/bringing-a-world-of-design-to-the-dcdc\/\">this story<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Now, Willis is the subject of an article by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.modeldmedia.com\">Model D &#8211; Detroit<\/a>, which calls itself Detroit&#8217;s Online Magazine.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The article focuses on Willis&#8217; nonprofit Bleeding Heart Design (b.h.d.), and the work she is doing in the northeast neighborhood known as Lindale Gardens \u2014 the place she grew up.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;ve never moved from the neighborhood because I want to hopefully help dispel the myth that once you reach a certain economic level or some type of educational level that you should move, which is of course a really prevalent myth in Detroit,&#8221;
