Once again, we have taken on Oakland University for the Detroit Mercy vs. OU Donor Challenge, which starts today and runs through Friday. <\/p>\n
The winner will be the school with gifts from the most donors and will be announced during the Detroit Mercy\/Oakland University men\u2019s basketball game on Feb. 9. The losing school\u2019s mascot must wear the winning team\u2019s jersey at the game.<\/p>\n
Detroit Mercy won the first challenge in 2016 and OU came out on top on the final day to win in 2017. That\u2019s why this year\u2019s theme is \u201cThis Means War.\u201d Detroit Mercy is running several crowdfunding campaigns in conjunction with the challenge, so donors can direct their gifts to projects or programs that are most meaningful to them.
