When U.S. News & World Report<\/em> released its prestigious college rankings on Tuesday, Sept. 12, Detroit Mercy received some good news.<\/p>\n

For the 17th consecutive year, the University is listed in the top tier of Midwest Best Regional Universities in the 2018 edition of the U.S. News & World Report<\/em>‘s well-respected “Best Colleges.”<\/p>\n

Detroit Mercy ranked No. 19 for Midwest Best Regional Universities and is the only university in Michigan to be listed in the top 25.<\/p>\n

“Detroit Mercy’s rankings strongly affirm the quality of our talented students, high retention and graduation rates, and excellent student-to-faculty ratio,” said Dr. Antoine M. Garibaldi, president of the University.  “The growing number of applicants and third consecutive year of increase in students are clearly being influenced by these rankings as the University’s reputation rises,” he added.<\/p>\n
