Detroit Mercy President Antoine M. Garibaldi spoke with WXYZ Editorial and Public Affairs Director Chuck Stokes on Nov. 22 about the recent groundbreaking of the McNichols Campus Renovation Project as well as other University topics in a “Spotlight on the News” interview.
During their talk, Garibaldi discussed the University’s McNichols Campus Renovation Project and the new Student Union, which will be the first major project for the renovation. In addition, the president mentioned the institution’s high rankings by U.S. News & World Report and the Wall Street Journal for 2021, as well as the recent grants the University received from the National Science Foundation and Department of Education to help increase student success.
