University students, who were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, may receive additional funding through the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF III) as part of the American Rescue Plan. Students who received a grant from the previous HEERF III application earlier this semester are not eligible to apply.
Grants are available to any student who was enrolled anytime between the Winter 2020 semester through Fall 2021. These grant funds can be used to cover any component of your cost of attendance, including tuition balances and food, housing, computer and medical expenses.
The priority deadline to apply is Dec. 3. Submission of an application does not guarantee an award. Awards will be prioritized for students with exceptional need or undergraduates with extraordinary financial circumstances. Students will be notified by email if they have been selected for a HEERF III grant, usually within 14-21 days.
