Join the University community for Mass on the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception at 12:45 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8 in the St. Ignatius Chapel, located on Detroit Mercy’s McNichols Campus.
This is a Holy Day of Obligation. According to the teaching of the church, the Immaculate Conception of Mary means that Mary was conceived without sin, and was preserved from sin throughout her life.
