DESCRIPTION:Detroit Mercy will host the 2026 EPIIC (Enabling Partnerships t
 o Increase Innovation Capacity) Industry-Academia Summit\, connecting entr
 epreneurs with faculty experts and resources from four emerging research u
 niversities in Michigan.\n\nThe summit will take place on Friday\, Feb. 27
 \, from 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.\, in the Student Union Ballroom on the McNicho
 ls Campus.\n\nThe summit will feature panel discussions with technology le
 aders in AI\, cybersecurity\, biomedical innovation\, robotics\, electrifi
 cation and mobility\, along with information on grants and partnership sup
 port from the universities as well as other economic development organizat
 ions.\n\nDetroit Mercy will be joined by the following universities:\n\n 	
 Andrews University\n 	Kettering University\n 	Lawrence Technological Unive
 rsity\n\nThese universities offer expertise in cutting-edge technical fiel
 ds and want to connect with small businesses and start‑ups to spark coll
