 lenges and the community empowerment work of CIS
DESCRIPTION:(CLASA) will host talks on El Salvador\, featuring Alejandra Sa
 ndova\, on Tuesday\, Oct. 6\, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.\, in the Loranger
  Architecture Building Exhibition Space. The discussions will cover contem
 porary challenges facing El Salvador as well as the work of the Center for
  Interchange and Solidarity (CIS) in defending human rights\, ensuring bas
 ic human needs are filled and empowering women.\n\nThe conversation will t
 ake place in two parts: 10-11:10 a.m. and 11:20 a.m.-12:30 p.m.\, with a 1
 0-minute break between sessions. Participants can attend either or both se
 ssions\, with minimal repetition between the two.\n\nThis event is free\, 
 and all are welcome.\n\nSandoval is a Salvadoran visual communicator and d
 igital strategist currently serving as the promotion and solidarity crafts
  coordinator at the Center for Interchange and Solidarity (CIS) in El Salv
 ador. Passionate about linguistic and cultural exchanges\, her work uses d
 igital storytelling to build cross-cultural understanding.\n\nThis event i
 s co-sponsored by the Language and Cultural Training Program at UDM.
