DESCRIPTION:The UDM community is invited to a director’s cut screening an
 d discussion of a new documentary titled "Citizens Revival." The subject o
 f this documentary is the 2024 Presidential election and impressions of co
 llege students across the U.S. This thought-provoking film explores the po
 wer of grassroots movements in shaping our civic communities\, particularl
 y with a focus on education and participation.\n\nThis in-person event wil
 l take place on Jan. 15 inside the Briggs Building\, Room 317. Check-in be
 gins at 3:30 p.m. with the film set to start at 4 p.m.\n\nUDM hosted filmm
 aker Becca Finley during the 2024 Presidental election\, who worked to gat
 her the thoughts and impressions of UDM students on this election. The fil
 m celebrates the power of ordinary people who contribute to our democracy 
 and demonstrates how hope triumphs over fear\, and participation wins.\n\n
 The film preview will be followed by a Q&amp\;A with several of the film's
  creators and participants\, including students from UDM.\n\nThis is a fre
 e screening with limited seating\, so please RSVP.\n\nPizza and refreshmen
