DESCRIPTION:Usher in National Library Workers Day\, as well as the start of
  finals week\, with free cake inside of the McNichols Campus Library fro
 m 12-1:30 p.m. Tuesday\, April 25.\n\nTo celebrate all that the library d
 oes throughout the school year and beyond\, grab a friend or classmate and
  stop by the library to have a slice and leave a message sharing what you 
 love about the library or how the library has benefitted your Detroit Merc
 y experience.\n\nThe McNichols Campus Library welcomes more than 1\,000 st
 udents\, faculty and staff through its doors nearly every day. Whether it
 ’s to get research help\, check out a book or anatomy model\, place an i
 tem on course reserve\, stop for coffee and a title recommendation\, or pa
 rticipate in a student group-sponsored back sale or event\, the library is
  a busy place!\n\nAnd then there is the online library\, with folks having
  access to the Libraries’ electronic resources and services\, including 
 eBooks\, eJournals\, streaming videos\, interlibrary loan services\, Ask-A
 -Librarian chat and reference email 24 hours a day\, seven days a week!
