 rris Bolden ’14 is the special lecturer at the fifth annual Dewitt C. Ho
 lbrook Lecture on Social Justice\, hosted by Detroit Mercy Law.\n\nThe lec
 ture\, titled\, “Justice for All\,” is set for Thursday\, April 13 fr
 om 5-6 p.m. in Room 226 of the Riverfront Campus. A reception in the atri
 um immediately follows the lecture.\n\nThis lecture series is made possibl
 e through a grant from the Dewitt C. Holbrook Memorial Trust\, provides a 
 forum for prominent leaders in the legal profession to address issues on l
 aw and policy related to social justice.\n\nBolden joined the Michigan Sup
 reme Court on Jan. 1\, 2023 when she was appointed by Gov. Gretchen Whitme
 r\, making her the first black woman to serve as a Justice on the state’
 s highest court. As a former Michigan House Representative\, Bolden advoca
 ted for Michiganers as a member of the Judiciary Committee and focused her
