DESCRIPTION:Mark your calendars! The Christmas Pop-up Shop is back! \n\nHan
 dmade items\, treats\, cards and all sorts of curious and unique items wil
 l be on sale from Wednesday\, Dec. 4 to Friday\, Dec. 6 in the McNichols C
 ampus Library lobby. Shop hours will be 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.\n\nPro
 ceeds of the sale go to RX for Reading\, a non-profit children’s literac
 y initiative sponsored by Detroit Mercy\, Department of English\, whose mi
 ssion is to expand access to high-quality children’s books and support f
 amilies in reading with their children. Celebrating its 10th anniversary\,
  RX for Reading has distributed over 2\,000 children’s books a month sin
 ce 2014 with the help of its community partners and is committed to raisin
 g the next generation of readers and leaders in our community. \n\nSo ple
 ase stop by the shop and work on that Christmas gift checklist while suppo
 rting a good cause!
