  will host a presentation and roundtable discussion on human trafficking i
 n observance of January Human Trafficking Awareness Month on Wednesday\, J
 an. 15 at 12 p.m. in the Ford Life Sciences Building\, Room 118.\n\nDetroi
 t Mercy's very own Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) student\, Isabell Mill
 er\, registered nurse-anesthesia student\, will present and lead the discu
 ssion on this topic in order to raise awareness and educate the UDM commun
 ity on how to potentially identify and prevent this crime. Miller is a rec
 ipient of the distinguished Oakland University’s Nightingale Award in 20
 22 for developing a screening tool to identify and treat victims of human 
 sex trafficking.\n\nStudents\, faculty and staff are welcome! Snacks will 
 be provided.\n\nPlease join us and educate yourself on this very important
  issue!
