 e Detroit Province of the Jesuits who has lived in Nicaragua for many deca
 des and is no stranger to the struggle for justice and peace. Mulligan is 
 the author of several books including The Nicaraguan Church and the Revolu
 tion and more recently The Jesuit Martyrs of El Salvador: Celebrating Thei
 r Anniversaries. He has been writing a series of volumes on The Gospel of 
 Luke\, and in previous years he has shared Volumes 1 and 2 of his book. Fr
 . Mulligan is an activist who has engaged in nonviolent action such as fas
