DESCRIPTION:Detroit Mercy Law Review hosts its 108th annual symposium\, thi
 s year titled "Law School 101: An Exploration of Legal Pedagogy\," on Frid
 ay\, March 8 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Riverfront Campus. A reception i
 n the atrium immediately follows the symposium.\n\nThe Law Review welcomes
  legal professionals\, academics\, scholars\, practitioners\, and other st
 akeholders from across the country to discuss topics involving legal pedag
 ogy.\n\nLegal pedagogy refers to the study and practice of teaching in law
  school. The practical side of teaching law—such as lesson planning\, co
 urse design\, and assessment methods—as well as the theoretical side\, a
 re both important aspects of legal pedagogy.\n\nEffective legal pedagogy s
 eeks to equip students with the knowledge\, skills\, and ethical framework
  necessary to succeed in the modern legal field. This includes developing 
 critical thinking and problem-solving abilities\, as well as an appreciati
