SUMMARY:Learn about Travel to Cuba program
DESCRIPTION:The University of Detroit Mercy marks its 10th year of educatio
 nal travel to Cuba. Several events are scheduled in October to learn about
  the program\, viewing student projects and how to participate in travelin
 g to Cuba during spring break of the 2022-23 academic year.\n\nAt 5 p.m. 
 Wednesday\, Oct. 5\, the School of Architecture &amp\; Community Developme
 nt (SACD) will showcase student projects developed by students who visited
  Havana\, Cuba\, Volterra\, Italy and Warsaw\, Poland. The showcase will t
 ake place in the Exhibition Space of the Loranger Architecture Building.\n
 \nA student panel discussion will take place and samples of cuisine and be
 verages will be provided.\n\nAn informational session on the Travel to Cub
 a trip will be held Wednesday\, Oct. 12 at 6:30 p.m. in the seminar room
  on the first floor of the Loranger Architecture Building. This informatio
 nal session is open to the University community\, as is the travel to Cuba
  during spring break. At the sessions\, attendees will learn about graduat
 e and undergraduate courses connected to the Cuba trip.\n\nOn Tuesday\, O
 ct. 25 at 1 p.m. in the Briggs Building\, Room 341\, students will have t
 he opportunity to learn about immersion programs offered through the Colle
 ge of Liberal Arts &amp\; Education. They’ll also have the opportunity t
 o learn about travel grants that support CLAE-sponsored immersion programs
 .\n\nSome of these programs include the Cuba and New York trips during spr
 ing break\, as well as the Travel to India program\, which is scheduled fo
 r May of 2023 after the current school year ends.\n\nTo learn more about t
