DESCRIPTION:Student Life will kick off its year-long Makers Series with Ike
 bana flower arranging\, a Japanese method of flower arranging that goes ba
 ck centuries.\n\nThe workshop will take place on Thursday\, Sept. 3 from 4
 -6\, in the Student Union Lower Level.\n\nParticipants will learn the basi
 cs of Ikebana and then use instincts and personal creativity to craft thei
 r own arrangements\, all while enjoying some tasty Japanese treats. \n\nTh
 e event is free and open to all students.
