DESCRIPTION:The University of Detroit Mercy Department of Athletics is prou
 d to announce that the 5th Annual City College Series DPS Benefit Game i
 s set for Thursday\, Nov. 2 as the men’s basketball team host city-riv
 al Wayne State in an exhibition contest.\n\nThe game is scheduled to tip a
 t 7 p.m.\, inside historic Calihan Hall. Tickets to the game will be just 
 $2 (cash only on game day\, no advance sales)\, and all proceeds will go t
 o Detroit Public Schools\, K-5\, with Michigan First Credit Union matchin
 g the proceeds.\n\nThis is the fifth time Detroit Mercy will play a game t
 o give back to DPS. In 2022\, Titan Athletics solicited donations online a
 nd in-person at all men’s and women’s home basketball games\, which to
 taled $2\,500\, and the matching contribution gave the DPS Foundation $5\,
 000.\n\nIn the history of the event\, Titan Athletics and Michigan First h
 ave helped raise nearly $30\,000 for DPS K-5 between ticket sales and matc
