DESCRIPTION:All are welcome to attend a National Alliance on Mental Illness
  (NAMI) In Our Own Voice presentation Thursday\, Feb. 22 from 6:30-8 p.m. 
 on the McNichols Campus.\n\nThe presentation\, hosted by the College of He
 alth Professions and made possible by the Mission Micro-Grant\, will take 
 place in the Chemistry Building\, Room 114.\n\nNAMI In Our Own Voice prese
 ntations change attitudes\, assumptions and ideas about people with mental
  health conditions. These presentations provide a personal perspective of 
 mental health conditions\, as leaders with lived experience talk openly ab
 out what it's like to have a mental health condition.\n\nThe presentation 
 provides:\n\n 	An opportunity to hear open and honest perspectives on a hi
 ghly misunderstood topic.\n 	A chance to ask leaders questions\, allowing 
 for a deeper understanding of mental health conditions and dispelling of s
 tereotypes and misconceptions.\n 	The understanding that people with menta
 l health conditions have lives enriched by hopes\, dreams and goals.\n 	In
 formation on how to learn more about mental health and get involved with t
