SUMMARY:November service immersion\, volunteer to distribute turkeys
DESCRIPTION:This November\, join University Ministry and the Muslim Student
  Association in making a meaningful impact in the Detroit community by hel
 ping to distribute turkeys and essential food items to Detroit families in
  need.\n\nThis service immersion event takes place on Saturday\, Nov. 22 f
 rom 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Students will meet at the Mercy Gathering Place
  in Shiple Hall and be transported by school van to the Islamic Center of 
 Detroit (14350 Tireman Ave.\, Detroit\, MI 48228).\n\nAs a volunteer\, you
 ’ll help distribute food and share in a purposeful experience that stren
 gthens bonds with our Detroit community.\n\nStudent volunteers will enjoy 
 a complimentary meal following the service portion of the event while enga
 ging in conversations about mindfulness\, gratitude and the importance of
