DESCRIPTION:The College of Engineering &amp\; Science’s ninth annual Res
 earch Symposium is set for Friday\, Oct. 21 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.\n\nEac
 h year\, this annual symposium highlights the research conducted by underg
 raduate and graduate students. In addition\, the College of Engineering &a
 mp\; Science invites hundreds of high school students and alumni to experi
 ence the academic research achievements of our students.\n\nStudents will 
 win prizes based on research excellence in engineering and science categor
 ies. Additionally\, a participant-voted “People’s Choice” award will
  be made to the best project.\n\nThis event will take place in the Student
  Union Ballroom\, Fountain Lounge and Engineering High Bay. Students will 
 display research posters for their projects. Demonstrations may also be on
