DESCRIPTION:Detroit Mercy's School of Architecture and Community Developmen
 t (SACD) invites the campus community\, architecture professionals and any
 one interested in international work and entrepreneurship to attend an upc
 oming lecture featuring Marisol González\, principal of M-G Estudio and f
 aculty member at Tec de Monterrey\, Mexico.\n\nThe lecture\, titled "Thing
 s I Wish I Knew Before Becoming an Architect: Reflections and Practice\," 
 will take place on Friday\, Nov. 7\, at 2 p.m. in Warren Loranger Architec
 ture Building Exhibition Space. This lecture is free and open to the publi
 c.\n\nGonzález will share insights from her journey as both educator and 
 practitioner\, offering valuable perspectives on navigating the transition
  from academic study to professional practice. Her talk will explore the i
 ntersection of architecture\, entrepreneurship and international collabora
 tion.\n\nThis visit is part of an ongoing teaching collaboration between D
 etroit Mercy and Tec de Monterrey's architecture program. González will b
 e accompanied by architecture students from Tec de Monterrey\, furthering 
 the institutions' commitment to cross-cultural educational exchange.\n\nFo
