 lopment lectures series will feature guest speaker Kofi Boone at 6:30 p.
 m. Wednesday\, Sept. 28.\n\nVirtual access will also be provided for the f

 \nBoone\, a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects (FASLA)
 \, is a University Faculty Scholar and Professor in the Department of Land
 scape Architecture and Environmental Planning at NC State University in th
 e College of Design. He is a Detroit native and graduate of the University
  of Michigan. His work is in the overlap between landscape architecture an
 d environmental justice with specializations in democratic design\, digita
 l media and interpreting cultural landscapes.\n\nThe event is an official 
 part of the Detroit Month of Design. 2022 marks the 12th anniversary of th
 e festival\, which takes place annually during the month of September.\n\n
 Programmed by Design Core\, Detroit Month of Design is a citywide celebrat
 ion of creativity that gathers designers and the greater community to cele
