DESCRIPTION:Help support Safety Street\, Detroit Mercy's annual trick-or-tr
 eat event\, by donating candy and sweets to ensure a fun\, safe and succes
 sful time for our community.\n\nAll candy donations should be delivered to
  the Student Union's Lower Level\, Monday through Friday\, Oct. 9-20. Dona
 tions will be accepted by Student Life until Oct. 20 at 5 p.m.\n\nThe larg
 est donation from college and campus departments will be awarded a Safety 
 Street t-shirt from Student Life for each participant and a pizza party. S
 tudent organizations will also be donating candy for the event and the Stu
 dent Government Association (SGA) will be awarding money toward any progra
 m for the 2023-24 school year. The winning student organization must meet 
 the following criteria:\n\n 	Donate at least 15 pounds of candy by Oct. 20
 \n 	Participate in the facade building decorations party on Thursday\, Oct
 . 26\n 	Say for the entirety of Safety Street\, Friday\, Oct. 27\, 4:30-6 
 p.m.\n 	Clean up their respective facade and area from the Safety Street e
 vent.\n\nSafety Street\, now in its 34th year\, will feature a return to a
  full in-person event\, held Friday\, Oct. 27 from 4:30-6 p.m. in the Foun
 tain Area outside of the Student Union on the McNichols Campus.
