DESCRIPTION:All Detroit Mercy students are invited to take part in a “Pit
 ch-A-Thon\,” collaborating with students of other disciplines on innovat
 ive community health solutions for cash prizes of up to $500 per team.\n\n
 The Student Excellence in Community Collaboration and Innovation (SECCI) A
 wards are set for Friday\, Sept. 29 from 12-6 p.m. in the College of Hea
 lth Professions\, Room 124. Student “pitches” will begin at roughly 3 
 p.m.\n\nThis collaborative event is open to ALL Detroit Mercy students! 
 Cash prizes of up to $500 are available for teams. Individual students sho
 uld RSVP through the link below. Students will need to be present for the 
 entire event to be eligible for the competition and prizes.\n\nTeams will 
 be organized during the event. Refreshments will also be provided. Partici
 pants will also be asked to complete an anonymous follow-up survey and a d
 ebrief discussion after their learning about their collaborative experienc
 es.\n\nFaculty and staff are also welcome to attend and may RSVP using the
