DESCRIPTION:Psychiatrist and author Christine Montross will be the featured
  guest in a virtual speaker series entitled\, "Telling the Stories of the 
 Health Humanities\," at 6 p.m. Wednesday\, April 10.\n\nMontross will disc
 uss how story serves multiple roles in the practice of medicine — from p
 atient narrative\, to physician reflection\, to powerful advocacy tool.\n\
 nIn particular she will focus on the ways these intersections informed the
  writing of her latest book on the U.S. criminalization of mental illness\
 , "Waiting for an Echo: The Madness of American Incarceration."\n\nThis pr
 oject was made possible in part by Detroit Mercy's Titan Innovation Fund.
