DESCRIPTION:The ReBUILDetroit Learning Community on Identity Formation is h
 osting a virtual healing session for equity and inclusion leaders in STEM 
 led by Sarina Saturn\, neuroscientist and editor of the ADVANCE Journal\, 
 on Tuesday\, Feb. 11 at 12:45 p.m. This event is co-hosted by the Inclusiv
 e Teaching Learning Community.\n\nDuring this session\, we will:\n\n 	Reco
 gnize the impact of trauma on our brains and physiology and resultant impa
 cts on personal and professional well-being\n 	Apply neuroscience-informed
  techniques to enhance emotional resilience and cope with the challenges o
 f equity-centered leadership roles\n 	Cultivate sustainable self-care stra
 tegies\, including the use of contemplative-based exercises\, somatic tuni
 ng\, self-compassion and creativity\n 	Foster collective healing through c
 ommunities of support and solidarity among leaders working toward equity a
