Students will have a chance to win prizes and receive giveaways at the celebration.<\/p>\n<p>A tennis clinic kicks off the fun from 12:30-2 p.m., with soccer (5-6 p.m.), volleyball (6-7 p.m.) clinics following. A Fitness 101 class starts at 5:30 p.m. and is followed by a Zumba Fitness class at 6 p.m. After the carnival fun from 6-8 p.m., there will be a teqball demo from 8-9 p.m., open dodgeball from 8-10 p.m. and a free throw contest from 9-10 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Starting out as just a hope, and then just a room and now a beautiful facility with many programs, equipment and services, the Student Fitness Center proudly serves the Detroit Mercy community.
