More than 100 staff members, administrators and faculty participated in the first Fall Clean-Up Day on Nov. 9.<\/p>\n

Volunteers were divided into work crews and raked leaves, trimmed plants for the winter and picked up trash on the McNichols Campus. They were rewarded with a lunch of hamburgers and hot dogs grilled by staff volunteers.<\/p>\n

The event was designed by University President Donald Taylor to build community on the campus among departments. Another will be planned in the spring, just before Commencement ceremonies.<\/p>\n
