Director of Writing Across the Curriculum Sigrid Streit<\/a> and Director of the Writing Center Lauren Rinke<\/a> are inviting you to virtual workshops focusing on teaching writing and incorporating writing assignments across all disciplines.<\/p>\n The next workshop, “Discussing APA, Chicago, IEEE, and other styles with your students,” is set for Thursday, March 23 from 12:45-2 p.m.<\/strong> The meeting will be held virtually and after registering<\/a>, participants will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.<\/p>\n Thursday, March 23 (12:45-2 p.m.) \u2014 virtual via Zoom<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Presenters: Sigrid Streit, Lauren Rinke<\/em><\/p>\n Instructors often observe that students struggle to properly incorporate and document their sources. This workshop will explore different strategies to introduce students to field-specific styles and will provide resources to do so effectively.<\/p>\n Friday, April 14 (12-1 p.m.) \u2014 virtual via Zoom<\/strong><\/p>\n Presenter: Sigrid Streit<\/em><\/p>\n This workshop explores how to successfully integrate IT1.1 into your course.
