It was a wonderful afternoon filled with laughter, food and excellent colleagues: What better way to ring in the holiday season?<\/p>\n<p>During the festivities, 99 employees were honored for their 1,845 combined years of service at Detroit Mercy; 154 colleagues who have retired over the last three years or will retire by the end of this year were also recognized, representing 3,722 years of service to the University.<\/p>\n<p>Rounding off the event, Human Resources presented the Commitment to Excellence Awards (see photos below). Congratulations to this year\u2019s recipients: Detroit Mercy Campus Kitchen Manager Clara Gamalski, Detroit Mercy Dental Laboratory Research Assistant Jamal Alhabeil and Budget and Financial Analysis
