Do you know an emerging young adult leader? Are you one? <\/span><\/span>Contemplative Leaders in Action (CLA)<\/span><\/span><\/a> is a leadership program for young adults<\/span> (age 24-39)<\/span>, rooted in the <\/span>spirituality <\/span>tradition<\/span> of St. Ignatius of Loyola. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

T<\/span>he world needs Ignatian leaders <\/span>\u2013 <\/span>passionate<\/span> \u201ccontemplatives in action\u201d discerning God\u2019s movements in their lives and responding out of love as <\/span>hopeful, joyful <\/span>people with and for others. This kind of leadership flows from a deep spiritual life and inspired sense of purpose.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

CLA is for <\/span>those <\/span>eager to improve <\/span>their <\/span>effectiveness as leader<\/span>s<\/span>, and willing to put <\/span>their <\/span>spirituality into action in service to others<\/span> here in Detroit<\/span>. <\/span>Our ideal cohort is composed of people from diverse identities, professional experiences, and educational backgrounds. <\/span>Cohort members<\/span> engage in 18 monthly meetings along with annual retreats and days of reflection,<\/span> interact<\/span>ing<\/span> with <\/span>inspiring <\/span>professionals and reflect<\/span>ing<\/span> on the intersections of career, faith<\/span>, <\/span>family<\/span> and leadership.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
