{"id":14947,"date":"2023-09-27T09:53:24","date_gmt":"2023-09-27T13:53:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.udmercy.edu\/campusconnection\/?p=14947"},"modified":"2023-09-28T16:45:52","modified_gmt":"2023-09-28T20:45:52","slug":"udm-raises-more-than-2000-with-nami-walk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.udmercy.edu\/campusconnection\/2023\/09\/27\/udm-raises-more-than-2000-with-nami-walk\/","title":{"rendered":"UDM raises more than $2,000 with NAMI Walk"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 2023 <a href=\"http:\/\/nami.org\">National Alliance on Mental Illness<\/a> (NAMI) Walk took place on Sept. 16 at Wayne State University with Detroit Mercy&#8217;s team raising more than $2,000.<\/p>\n<p>UDM finished in ninth out of 83 teams in the fundraising portion of the event, which raised awareness about mental health.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/nami.org\">NAMI<\/a> provides advocacy, education, support and public awareness so that all individuals and families affected by mental illness can build better lives.<\/p>\n<p>A big thank you to everyone who participated in supporting this great cause!
