Detroit Mercy’s Department of Athletics will host a special luncheon, set for 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 18<\/strong> prior to UDM’s 7 p.m. game against Green Bay.<\/p>\n

Those in attendance will have a chance to listen to head coach Kate Achter talk about her Titans squad prior to the contest against the Phoenix at Calihan Hall.<\/p>\n

All faculty and staff are invited free of charge as part of Staff Appreciation Day, which includes a free ticket to the game. All season ticket holders can attend the luncheon for free, while anyone else can attend for $5 per person, which includes admission into the game.<\/p>\n

Currently, Detroit Mercy and Green Bay are two of the top-three teams in the Horizon League women’s basketball standings. The Titans are 11-5 overall and 4-1 in the league standings entering Wednesday’s contest with Cleveland State.<\/p>\n
