{"id":17059,"date":"2024-04-25T11:37:36","date_gmt":"2024-04-25T15:37:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.udmercy.edu\/campusconnection\/?p=17059"},"modified":"2024-04-25T17:02:10","modified_gmt":"2024-04-25T21:02:10","slug":"nominations-for-2024s-commitment-to-excellence-award-through-april-26","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.udmercy.edu\/campusconnection\/2024\/04\/25\/nominations-for-2024s-commitment-to-excellence-award-through-april-26\/","title":{"rendered":"Nominate for 2024&#8217;s Commitment to Excellence Award through April 29"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nominations are now open for this year&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.udmercy.edu\/faculty-staff\/hr\/excellence.php\">Commitment to Excellence Awards<\/a> to recognize outstanding members of our Detroit Mercy community.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.udmercy.edu\/faculty-staff\/hr\/excellence.php\">Nominations for the 2024 awards<\/a> will be accepted until midnight on <strong>Monday, April 29<\/strong>. All full-time non-exempt staff and administrative-exempt employees of the University are eligible. Detroit Mercy staff, faculty or administrators may nominate any colleague. Award recipients receive a certificate, commemorative gift and a monetary award.<\/p>\n<p>The nominations are based on the following criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Nominees consistently perform their work responsibilities professionally and collaboratively and give excellent service to everyone with whom they work and serve;<\/li>\n<li>Nominees promote and demonstrate the Mission of the University and the goals of their college, school or department;<\/li>\n<li>Nominees take initiative in their work, going above and beyond what is required; and<\/li>\n<li>Nominees are dedicated and accomplish their work with a positive attitude.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Recipients will be selected by the end of April and the awards will be presented at the annual Spotlight on Excellence Celebration on <strong>Monday, May 13<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Questions may be directed to the Staff and Administrator Development Team at <a href=\"mailto:sadt@udmercy.edu\">sadt@udmercy.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h4><a href=\"https:\/\/www.udmercy.edu\/faculty-staff\/hr\/excellence.php\">Nominate for the awards!<\/a><\/h4>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nominations are now open for this year&#8217;s Commitment to Excellence Awards to recognize outstanding members of our Detroit Mercy community.
