Earn prizes through the English Department<\/a>‘s Magnetic Poetry Contest early in the school year! All Detroit Mercy students, staff, faculty and administrators are encouraged to create an original poem using the magnets on the second-floor lockers of the Briggs Building.<\/p>\n

The deadline to submit an image of your finished poem is Friday, Sept. 13<\/strong>. Winning students will receive cash prizes \u2014 $75 and a magnetic poetry kit for first place, $50 for second place and $25 for third place. Winning employees will receive much glory.<\/p>\n

Please be sure to submit an image of your poem that is vertically oriented. Each individual may submit a maximum of three poems.<\/p>\n
