Commencement will take place on <strong>Saturday, May 10<\/strong> on the McNichols Campus.<\/p>\n<p>Please see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.signupgenius.com\/go\/5080A4CAAA92BA6FC1-55383803-detroit?useFullSite=true#\/\">sign-up<\/a> below for volunteer opportunities and available time slots. Whether you have availability for one shift or for multiple shifts, your help is greatly appreciated!<\/p>\n<p>Breakfast and lunch are provided to all volunteers.<\/p>\n<p>Employee volunteers will receive Presidential Hours in exchange for your time to use at an agreed-upon time with your supervisor before Dec. 31, 2025. This opportunity is available to employees from the Riverfront and McNichols Campuses.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Volunteers are needed at various times for the following events:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Undergraduate Student Commencement Ceremony (Calihan Hall) \u2013 9:30 a.m.<\/li>\n<li>Outdoor Undergraduate Reception (Kassab Mall) \u2013 Immediately following the ceremony<\/li>\n<li>Baccalaureate Mass (Student Union Ballroom) \u2013 1 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Graduate Student Commencement Ceremony (Calihan Hall) \u2013 3:30 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Outdoor Graduate Reception (Kassab Mall) \u2013 Immediately following the ceremony<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Volunteer Meeting<\/strong><br \/>\nAll volunteers are required to attend a mandatory meeting on <strong>Tuesday, May 6 at 1 p.m.<\/strong> via Teams.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dress Code<\/strong><br \/>\nEmployee volunteers are asked to dress in business casual and\/or Detroit Mercy gear. A volunteer name badge will be provided at check-in, which is located in the Athletics Office in Calihan Hall.
