Earn prizes through the English Department<\/a>‘s second annual Magnetic Poetry Contest. All Detroit Mercy students, alumni, staff, faculty and administrators are encouraged to create an original poem using the magnets on the second-floor lockers of the Briggs Building.<\/p>\n

The deadline to submit an image of your finished poem is Saturday, Sept. 27<\/strong>. Winning poems may be published in the 33rd issue of [sic]<\/a>, UDM\u2019s arts and literary magazine! Student winners will receive a magnetic poetry kit, plus fame and glory. See last year\u2019s winners in [sic] here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Each individual may submit a maximum of three poems. Photographs of poems must be vertically oriented.<\/p>\n
