{"id":22867,"date":"2025-10-02T12:32:09","date_gmt":"2025-10-02T16:32:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.udmercy.edu\/campusconnection\/?p=22867"},"modified":"2025-10-02T16:58:33","modified_gmt":"2025-10-02T20:58:33","slug":"guided-8-week-retreat-for-udm-community-begins-week-of-oct-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.udmercy.edu\/campusconnection\/2025\/10\/02\/guided-8-week-retreat-for-udm-community-begins-week-of-oct-5\/","title":{"rendered":"Guided 8-week retreat for UDM community begins week of Oct. 5"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Beginning the week of <strong>Oct. 5<\/strong> and concluding around the Feast of Christ the King on Nov. 24, Meeting Christ in Prayer is an eight-week retreat that invites participants to engage in spiritual exercises as a lived experience within daily life\u2014no retreat houses required, just an open and generous spirit.<\/p>\n<p>Each week, small groups will meet with a prayer leader who will guide participants through spiritual exercises and offer daily prayer suggestions to support their retreat journey. Additionally, a spiritual director will be available to participants twice within the retreat journey for individual spiritual conversation.<\/p>\n<p>This program is free and open to all members of the Detroit Mercy community.
