The Rocket Mortgage Classic made history this weekend as the first PGA Tour held in the city of Detroit. Detroit Mercy set up on the 10th<\/sup> hole at the Detroit Golf Club and watched 156 of the world\u2019s top players competing for a $7.3 million purse over four days of competition. University of Detroit Mercy was the only university partnering with the tournament!<\/p>\n All ticket sale proceeds supported the Alumni Scholarship Fund. As the only university in Michigan participating in this event, Detroit Mercy receives exclusive exposure. In addition, this partnership provided a way to show our ongoing support and commitment to our city.
