Triptych\u00a0events are free and open to the community.<\/p>\n<p><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Cate Marvin is the author of four books of poetry: <em>World\u2019s Tallest Disaster<\/em>, winner of the 2000 Kathryn A. Morton Prize; <em>Fragment of the Head of a Queen<\/em>, for which she received a Whiting Award; <em>Oracle<\/em>, which was named by The New York Times as one of &#8220;The Best Poetry Books of 2015&#8221;; and <em>Event Horizon<\/em>, which appeared from Copper Canyon Press in 2022. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">A recipient of the Kate Tufts Discovery Prize, she also co-edited with poet Michael Dumanis the anthology <em>Legitimate Dangers: American Poets of the New Century<\/em> (Sarabande Books, 2006). Marvin teaches poetry writing in the Stonecoast M.F.A. Program at the University of Southern Maine and is professor of English at the College of Staten Island, City University of New York.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>SAVE THE DATE<\/strong> for authors Ross Gay (<strong>Feb. 19<\/strong>) and Ilya Kaminsky &amp; Katie Farris (<strong>March 19<\/strong>).
