This program supports faculty scholarship that centers gender and women\u2019s experiences and advances critical, intersectional analyses of social identities, including race, class, sexuality and other dimensions of identity.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"markcycja9mbs uM2yb\" data-markjs=\"true\">Congratulations<\/span> to the following awardees and projects:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Patrice Wade-Olson<\/strong>, assistant professor, McAuley School of Nursing &#8212; <em>Enhancing Trauma-Informed Practices in LGBT+ and HIV Care: A Pre- and Post-Test Study of Team-Based Training<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>Kirsten Silwanowicz<\/strong>, adjunct professor, School of Law &#8212; <em>Bias in the Machine: Legal Strategies for an Inclusive AI Future<\/em><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.udmercy.edu\/about\/people\/university\/ces\/civil\/rihana-abdallah-alexa\"><strong>Alexa Rihana-Abdallah<\/strong><\/a>, professor of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering &#8212; <em>How is Technical Leadership Assigned in Engineering Student Teams and How Does it Vary by Gender, Race and First-Generation Status?<\/em><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.udmercy.edu\/about\/people\/university\/clae\/psychology\/faculty\/lee-eshelman\"><strong>Lee Eshelman<\/strong><\/a>, associate professor of Psychology and director of Master of Arts Program in Clinical Psychology &#8212; <em>Restoring Intimacy: A Qualitative Study of Consensual Sex Among Sexual Assault Survivors<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Grant recipients will present their work at the WGS-sponsored colloquium during the Fall 2026 semester.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Congratulations to the recipients of the 2025\u201326 Feminist Scholarship Grants: Patrice Wade-Olson, Kirsten Silwanowicz, Alexa Rihana-Abdallah and Lee Eshelman.
