Three University of Detroit Mercy\u00a0online programs are ranked among the\u00a0best in the nation in the 2026\u00a0U.S. News & World Report\u2019s<\/em>\u00a0Best Online Programs rankings.\u00a0The latest rankings were published on Jan. 27.<\/p>\n

The College of Business Administration\u2019s\u00a0online MBA Management program\u00a0cracked the top 10 and\u00a0was ranked No. 8\u00a0in the\u00a0country, up five spots from last year.\u00a0This is the 11th\u00a0year in a row that the program was ranked among the top 25 programs in the U.S.<\/p>\n

In addition, UDM’s overall\u00a0MBA was ranked\u00a0No. 276\u00a0out of 364 programs for 2026. This is the second consecutive year that the\u00a0overall MBA program has been ranked\u00a0nationally.<\/p>\n

In the College of Health Professions,\u00a0the McAuley School of Nursing\u2019s online master\u2019s in Nursing program was ranked No. 72\u00a0out of 198 ranked programs.<\/p>\n

In addition to national recognition for online programs, the College of Business Administration and the College of Health Professions have been lauded for other academic programs.<\/p>\n

Last year,\u00a0UDM\u2019s MBA program was ranked No. 16 for Graduate Management\u00a0by\u00a0U.S. News and World Report<\/em>,\u00a0while its\u00a0Undergraduate Business Programs in Management and Entrepreneurship\u00a0received a No. 18 ranking nationally<\/a>.<\/p>\n

UDM\u2019s College of Business Administration is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International. Only the top 5% of business schools in the world are\u00a0accredited by the AACSB.<\/p>\n

The College of Health Professions, which includes the McAuley School of Nursing and\u00a0School of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences, offers more than a dozen academic programs across undergraduate,\u00a0graduate\u00a0and doctoral levels.<\/p>\n

Last fall, UDM\u2019s\u00a0Physician Assistant Program was recognized as the top PA program in the U.S.<\/a>\u00a0The Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA) honored UDM with its 2025 Excellence in PA Education award, one of the highest national recognitions in the field.<\/p>\n

These\u00a0Best Online Program rankings\u00a0from\u00a0U.S. News & World Report<\/em>\u00a0follow\u00a0the\u00a0Wall Street Journal<\/em>\/College Pulse report that ranked Detroit Mercy\u00a0No. 36 nationally and No. 2 in Michigan<\/a>.\u00a0Detroit Mercy\u2019s national ranking\u00a0improved\u00a0seven spots from the previous year.<\/p>\n

UDM\u2019s ranking from\u00a0WSJ<\/em>\/College Pulse makes it the No. 3 Catholic university in the United States and No. 2 ranked university among all Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities in the country.<\/p>\n

Detroit Mercy also ranks among the top 9% of all colleges and universities in the U.S. for career earnings<\/a>, according to Georgetown University\u2019s Center on Education and the Workforce research report\u00a0Ranking 4,476 Colleges by ROI (2025)<\/em>.\u00a0This data means that Detroit Mercy graduates can expect to earn more than $2.1 million in salary over their 40-year career compared with those who forgo a college education.<\/p>\n
