For more information, visit the Office of Residence Life website at <a href=\"https:\/\/udmercy.edu\/life\/on-campus\/\">udmercy.edu\/reslife<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Important Dates<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/Pages\/ResponsePage.aspx?id=2MKkyGi9ukC4tnUivppxcVy1Jkr3a4tNgzxnRzscML9UME9NMUhLV045NlhSQVdHTU1PT09FWEw4WSQlQCN0PWcu\">Applications are due by March 1 at 9 a.m.<\/a> Information sessions will be held on Monday, Feb. 22 at 4:30 p.m. and Thursday, Feb. 25 at 12:30 p.m. <a href=\"https:\/\/udmercy-edu.zoom.us\/j\/99265739500\">Register for an information session online<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Requirements<\/h2>\n<p>The following criteria must be met to apply for this RA position:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hold a 2.5 GPA<\/li>\n<li>Participate in the Bold Dialogues self-study by March 15<\/li>\n<li>Create your own program proposal with flier by March 7<\/li>\n<li>Submit three recommendations by March 22 using the <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/Pages\/ResponsePage.aspx?id=2MKkyGi9ukC4tnUivppxcVy1Jkr3a4tNgzxnRzscML9UOExYM1ZPTlJBQ1RROEQ3WU1ZUjNHN0kyMiQlQCN0PWcu\">RA Recommendation Form<\/a>, including letters from\n<ul>\n<li>A current Residence Life Staff Member<\/li>\n<li>A current Detroit Mercy Faculty\/Staff Member<\/li>\n<li>A mentor\/employer that you are not related to\/would not be considered a friend<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Note: All relevant links will also be emailed to you within two business days of application submission. Each candidate is required to have three references.<\/p>\n<h2>Timeline<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>March 1 at 9 a.m. \u2013 Application due<\/li>\n<li>Week of March 8 and March 15 \u2013 Individual interview<\/li>\n<li>Week of March 22 \u2013 Group interview<\/li>\n<li>March 22 \u2013 RA Recommendation forms due<\/li>\n<li>April 13 \u2013 Announcements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Program Proposal Information<\/h2>\n<p>During the individual interview, you will be asked to present a program or activity for your hall or floor. You expect to have 20 participants and have been given a budget of $10 from your supervisor. The program will fall under the categories of Diversity or Spirituality. During your interview, you will present your program flier, a proposed shopping list and spending plan as well as discuss why you chose this activity\/program. In addition, you must describe the educational outcomes your residents might gain from this program\/activity. Fliers are due to <a href=\"mailto:alefsj@udmercy.edu\">alefsj@udmercy.edu<\/a> by March 7.<\/p>\n<h2>Bold Dialogues Information<\/h2>\n<p>Bold Dialogues is a self-guided study that will be required of each of our RA applicants. Once you have applied, information regarding sign-up will be sent to your Detroit Mercy e-mail. Group interview process will be conducted in collaboration with Orientation Leader Group Process.
