Go Move Challenge 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Detroit Mercy busts a move as the ninth AJCU Go Move Challenge comes to a close! As a University community, we finished 12th overall, which is quite an accomplishment as one of the smallest AJCU schools in the competition. We also finished fifth in &#8220;average minutes per person,&#8221; our best finish in that category. Finally, we were ranked the best in the Midwest in average minutes!<\/p>\n<p>Based on average minutes per person, here are the top departments:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>ITS &#8211; 1,901<\/li>\n<li>School of Architecture &#8211; 1,541<\/li>\n<li>Finance &#8211; 1,500<\/li>\n<li>College of Health Professions &#8211; 1,301<\/li>\n<li>Detroit Mercy Law &#8211; 1,240<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>And a special highlight to the top five individual movers:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Tanya Lundberg &#8211; 4,474 (Law)<\/li>\n<li>Dan Pitera &#8211; 3,285 (Architecture)<\/li>\n<li>Toni Henry &#8211; 2,463 (Architecture)<\/li>\n<li>Allegra Pitera &#8211; 2,385 (Architecture)<\/li>\n<li>Timmy Nelson &#8211; 2,375 (MarCom)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Congratulations again to all competitors and a reminder to keep moving forward even after the challenge ends.
