Workwear brand outfits future essential workers at Detroit Mercy to celebrate Nurses Week<\/em><\/p>\n To show its appreciation for essential workers just entering their profession, Carhartt and CID have donated 336 pairs of scrubs to the graduating class of Detroit Mercy\u2019s College of Health Professions & McAuley School of Nursing.<\/p>\n Each graduate will receive two scrub sets with the total donation valued at approximately $16,800. While this year\u2019s ceremony is virtual, Detroit Mercy graduates will be able to celebrate their accomplishments with new sets of durable scrubs.<\/p>\n Over the past year, nurses all over the country have sacrificed, endured and persevered, giving everything they have to their profession and patients as the COVID-19 pandemic hit our country.
