{"id":7871,"date":"2021-08-30T08:30:29","date_gmt":"2021-08-30T12:30:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.udmercy.edu\/campusconnection\/?p=7871"},"modified":"2021-08-30T11:05:47","modified_gmt":"2021-08-30T15:05:47","slug":"grants-available-for-creative-service-learning-projects","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.udmercy.edu\/campusconnection\/2021\/08\/30\/grants-available-for-creative-service-learning-projects\/","title":{"rendered":"Grants available for creative service-learning projects"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Ford Motor Company Fund is offering two types of grants to support creative service-learning projects \u2014 the Mustang Model grant and Explorer Model grant.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Mustang Model grants work this way: Ford collects project requests from nonprofits and will post them on their <a href=\"https:\/\/fordfund.org\/education\/ford-community-corps\"><span class=\"s2\">website<\/span><\/a> Sept. 17. The University community then has until Sept. 29 to apply for one of the projects.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Explorer Model grant allows faculty-student teams to choose their own project and agency partner. Proposals are due Sept. 10.
